Turbosound partners with Audinate in Flashline
In a joint technical initiative with Audinate and Lab.gruppen aimed at providing the class-leading performance of the industry standard Lake DSP, the power of Lab.gruppen’s PLM platform and Audinate’s Dante™ networked audio distribution, Turbosound has announced the release of the Dante-enabled 20000DP amplifier to power its new Flashline Line Array system.
Based on the Lab.gruppen PLM platform and featuring dedicated presets specifically designed by Turbosound’s live sound engineering team for use with the company’s new Flashline concert touring loudspeaker system, the 20000DP provides four discrete output channels each rated at 4400 watts at 4 ohms, and offers significant advantages in sonic performance and user functionality.
The integrated Dante™ networked audio distribution brings its robust developments in networking technology to concert sound reinforcement with extremely reliable, sample-accurate, low latency audio distribution over Ethernet. To radically simplify network set-up and configuration, Audinate has developed a sophisticated zero networking discovery in Dante, which makes it possible for all Dante-enabled devices on the network to automatically discover each other and configure themselves as soon as they are connected to the network. This self-discovery technology makes Dante networking a true plug-and-play experience.

Allen & Heath’s New iLive-R72 Surface
R72The new R72 Control Surface is a compact, rackmountable surface able to access and control no less than 72 channels, mixes and DCAs with its two banks of faders with 6 layers each. The channels can be assigned to any job, labelled and colour-coded using the virtual write-on strip, while all the system’s functions are easily accessed using the iLive-R72’s TouchScreenTM and the surface controls. New Bulgarian Distributors
KV2 appoint NAT Ltd. as Bulgarian distributors
KV2 Audio are pleased to announce the appointment of Bulgarian company New Acoustic Technologies Limited (NAT Ltd.) as exclusive distributors of KV2 Audio products in the region.
Alex Pagliani, EMEA Sales Director commented on the appointment.
“I have known Nikolay Penkov (C.E.O.) of NAT for several years but we never had the opportunity to get together and seriously discuss the potential of working with KV2 Audio in Bulgaria. The Bulgarian market is a growing one with great potential. The appointment of NAT was made during this years Prolight and Sound Show in Frankfurt and is a further step forward in expanding the KV2 Audio brand into new territories. This was seen as a priority at the show and the appointment of NAT Ltd, IAD (Germany) ILT (Sweden) and Tradelius Music Group (South Africa) is a sign of it’s success.
The show provided NAT Ltd. with the opportunity of hearing a number of KV2 Audio systems, including the immensely popular ES system. With NAT Ltd. being a prominent rental company in the country the ES system immediately grabbed their attention owing to the systems compact footprint, incredible output and clarity.
